Abstract
This study was designed to determine the influence of Ben and Bens songs to students self-identity in terms of self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-evaluation particularly on senior high school students. It aims to know the perception of students towards the given variables. A correlational research design was utilized in this study, and survey questionnaires were disseminated to fifty (50) randomly selected senior high school General Academic Strand students as sample. It was conducted on a target population of ninety-eight (98) grade 11 students and seventy-one (71) grade 12 students of Dagatan National High School. The sample was taken through stratified random sampling. Survey questionnaires were used in this study. This study employed mean, standard deviation, and Pearson product-moment correlation. Based on the answers given by the respondents, it shows that most of them agree that listening to songs has an impact on their personal lives. The data showed that there is no significant relationship between Ben and Bens songs to self-identity as to self-awareness, self-esteem, and self-evaluation.
