Abstract

This study aimed to determine the Strategic Management Practices of School Heads and Organizational Diversity of High Performing Public Secondary Schools in the Division of Laguna. A total of 290 public secondary school teachers participated in this research. The self-made questionnaires was used to determine the perceptions of the teachers. The results revealed that the Planning, Leadership and governance, Curriculum and learning, Management resource, Budget allocation and Continuous improvement of the strategic management practices was observed to have a significant relationship to the school performance in selected public secondary schools in the Division of Laguna. This is based on the computed t values obtained from the tests which were greater than the critical t value.             The Work attitudes, Job commitment, Work experience, and Work involvement of the strategic management practices was observed to have a significant relationship to the school performance in selected public secondary schools in the Division of Laguna except for the Roles and responsibilities. This is based on the computed t values obtained from the tests which were greater than the critical t value.
