Abstract
The San Juanico Bridge, hailed as the “Bridge of Love,” is a symbol of connectivity and progress in Eastern Visayas, linking the islands of Leyte and Samar. This research explores its role in the post-war reconstruction and economic resurgence of the region. Using qualitative methods, including archival analysis and interviews, this study assesses the bridges socio-economic and cultural impact from its construction in the 1970s to its contributions in recent years. The findings reveal the bridge as a cornerstone of regional development, fostering trade, tourism, and cultural unity.
