Domestic violence is any act against a person, especially a woman, which results in physical, sexual, psychological misery or suffering, and/or neglect of the household. Violence against children is a series of acts of guardians or omissions by parents or other caregivers in the form of acts of physical, sexual, emotional abuse, or neglect of children so that they can harm or provide dangerous threats to children.
