Abstract

The concept of "interdependent happiness", which is happiness obtained by achieving interdependent goals, which is more common in interdependent daily life. This happiness can somehow provide by the people around the individual or their social supports. This study is a descriptive-mediation analysis approach that aimed to explore effect of interdependent happiness to mental health concerns such as depressive and anxious moods mediated by social support. Three-hundred participants from the BS Psychology program of LSPU Sta. Cruz were the participants of this study. The result of the study suggests the interdependent happiness affects the student?s social support. Social support and interdependent happiness have an alleviating effect to depressive and anxious moods. Social support demonstrates its mediation effect on the interdependent happiness to the mental health concerns of the students in participants. Workbook of activities in facilitating connections is recommended as part of the output of the study.
