I started my career as programmer, quality assessing in CNC turning and EDM wire cutting
machines in a private limited company. Developed Flexible manufacturing at BTL.Institute of

technology, India. During post graduate studies worked under professor in realizing a project
from Aeronautical research and Development organization, Government of India. I was a
research associate under UGC project on Metal Matrix composites at RV.College of engineering
, Bangalore ,India. Persued Doctoral degree from University of Mysore a reputed premier
university in India on MMC’s and crried out special properties characterization such as
CTE,Oxidation, Mach inability studies, Stress corrosion, Potential-static corrosion, Tribology,
Mechanical property characterization for both untreated as cast and heat treated Aluminum
composites. Obtained a grant of 6 lakhs to develop damping material for space applications
from ISRO india. Received a grant for robotic command system project from Defense research
and development organization, Government of India. Set up a 100kv off grid solar power plant
at gates Institute of technology, India with a grant from MNRE to a tune of 65 lakhs.Under my
guidance five scholars got awarded Doctoral degrees and Five are pursuing in reputed
universities where I am a recognized guide. During my teaching career I have execute more
than100 projects by guiding ug and pg, P.hD scholars. I have to my credit 54 International
Journal publications and 50 National and International conferences publications and published
5 International books .Attended more than 40 workshops on modern technology and on patent
drafting.
My research areas are: Solar Energy off grid and on grid power plants, Metal matrix composite,
Polymer composites, Material science, Surface treatments and hard facing.
