Abstract

A SCIENTIFIC APPROACH TO VISHALYAGHNA MARMA IN EYE

Marma corresponds to one of the most vital points of human body injury upon which can spontaneously cause death and is one of the most discussed and inseparable part of the holistic science of Ayurveda.According to Acharya Susrutha 107 marma points are said to exist in the human body and vishalyaghna marma is one among the major classification of the same.

          Vishalyaghana marma is the one in which death is supposed to happen only upon removal of the shalya from the injured part moreover it incorporates three marmas namely, 2 utkshepaka and one stahapani marma. The article furthermore in detail encompasses a holistic approach in which the divine science of ayurveda and the modern anatomical concepts are catapulted under one roof so as to manage emergency situations which involves emergency catastrophies in which injury may be impacted to pterion region or glabella thus affecting the utskepaka and sthapani marma respectively furthermore as Our Acharya have exclaimed to retent from removing shalya from vishalyaghna marma we indeed can prove the concept accountable enough by subsequent anatomical correlation and deep analysis of sastra. 

         Henceforth specified emphasis indeed needs to be apply eventually to rediscover the scientific basics behind the concepts presented by our acharyas 5000 years back with due regard to management of the vishalyaghna marma,Thereby showcasing bharateeya shastra and Ayurveda are the best and indeed invincible.
